Thank
You EPC
† Dear Sunday School Children, Thank you for the beautiful holiday card that you had colored for me. It means so much to be remembered at this special time. Blessings to you all. Happy New Year! Nancy Moore † I was awestruck and deeply moved by the quality and depth of the Christmas Pageant this year. Having been involved with producing these things for over twenty years, I can understand the amount of effort and time that went into producing this year's event. I can accurately say that this year's production ranked in the top five pageants ever produced, if not the best. Thank you to Lynn Shackelford for finding such a delightful play. Thanks to Meredith Holt, Joyce Nelson, and assistants for the costuming and staging. And thank you to the Edgcumbe singers who worked with the children for over a month to coax such beautiful sounds from the actors. It was a joint effort that we all were privileged to see. Peace & Love, Chuck Neve † Dear Edgcumbe Presbyterian Church, My name is Evan. I am in sixth grade at American Indian Magnet School. Thank you for the school supplies. Sincerely, Evan † What an incredible loss to the church, the world, and me, as Janet was a dear friend. Edgcumbe is a special place. I grew up in the church, with Janet, and have a great faith foundation from my childhood there. So many wonderful memories of Sunday School, youth groups, my parents as elders, and more… Sincerely, Amy (Setzer) Carovillano, Southlake, TX † We extend our deepest sympathy in the loss of one of your dearest members. Your support of her over the last few years meant so much to her, and her love of your little church was great. The Bartholic family, St. Paul, MN † "Edgcumbe Presbyterian Church donated their entire Christmas Eve offering to the brigade! We were invited this past Sunday to [their worship] service and even though it was hard to think about why we were there we were truly humbled that so many are so open and giving for a little girl they never got to meet. I know I have said it before and I will say it again, thank you is never enough but it is all we have. So thank you for everything.” From Shelly Moreno, mother of Aleena Moreno, and coordinator of Aleena’s Movie & Game Brigade, as told on Aleena’s Caring Bridge website. † Edgcumbe Folk - Thank you for the care, support & prayers that you have surrounded my family with during my dad’s dying and death. We have received so many lovely cards that have warmed my heart. And the Edgcumbe community sent lovely flowers to my father’s funeral. My mom was quite touched by their presence and by the care you have offered her. Thank you for incarnating the Risen God - it has touched my heart. God’s peace to you all, Julie GebbenGreen † Thank you for all you have done for my sister Jenilu. [You were there] when we are so far away to be of any help. With love in Christ, Addisu, Larry, Wendy, Rick, Niki & Warren |
